Biodiesel may require special fuel pumps in your engine. This is especially the case with common rail diesels. Please double check with the manufacturer of your engine before you run on biodiesel.
Common rail diesels have extremely high pressure pumps that may not like biodiesel because it’s slightly more corrosive than petrodiesel due to small amounts of impurities left behind from its manufacture. Methanol is present due to the way biodiesel is manufactured and it’s not very good for seals in your fuel system.
