The 190D diesel Mercedes was built in several different configurations, a 2.2 Liter 4 Cylinder and a 2.5 Liter 5 Cylinder. More economical that the 240 and 300 series, these models often get over 30 + miles per gallon. These W201 body styles are lighter weight and smaller framed than the 300 and 240 series that are based on the W123 body frame. The 190D is a popular and well suited choice to run on biodiesel, used or waste vegetable oil fuel.
